Let's face it: I wasn't very active at all on dA last year. This was due to various reasons, including school, video games, and general laziness and/or lack of motivation.
As part of my New Year's Resolution, I'd really like to change that. However, let's face it: school's a pretty big priority right now, especially since I'm coming into the harder forms of math and science.
If I can, I will post a picture every now and then, but otherwise, I am on an art hiatus.

That said, I will post a picture tomorrow, the first of the New Year, and the first in a small series of concept arts that I'm working on: those "Tons of Ideas" I mentioned in my last journal.

Wish me luck as the next semester starts. I'm going to need it.

Capcom just unveiled their latest joke-I mean installment to the Megaman Classic series. It'll be 8-bit, just like 9, and features an Easy Mode! Which means I can actually play it! (seriously, I only beat Galaxy Man in 9...) We also have a look at a new Robot Master, SheepMan. No, I'm not kidding. Sheep Man. He apparently hurls electrified wool at you. Or something.

Finals are next week, so I'll be done with school by next Wednesday. At least until next semester. I have TONS of ideas I want to draw out, so, be on the lookout for those, provided I'm not distracted by anything (*coughfinalfantasyxiiforthethirdtimecough spirittrackscough*).

Five days 'till Christmas!

Okay, soooooooo.

I get home from lunch with my sister's school mates (it's kind of a tradition that, at the end of a school grading period, she gets together with her friends from school at a fun little restaurant.)
Anyway! My dog with his irrisistable cuteness starts running, wanting me to play with him. In my eagerness to chase him, I put my DS in my purse and forget to sip it. As I'm running, the DS slides out of my purse, and hits the floor.
It obviously broke, the bottom screen being unable to display any image at all.
I seriously considered getting it repaired. I've had that DS for about two years, and I've grown attached to it. It had scratches and missing parts (one of the hinge convers broke off, though the hinge itself still worked perfectly. I also lost the dual slot protector and the stylus. I had to replace them with pink ones. ), and had dirt in every nook and cranny. It had personality. ;-;
A store called Play N Trade had a very interesting deal, however. I guess one of their storage guys lost the boxes to some brand new DS Lites, and thus, they had to see them at used prices. This was a deal that was kinda hard to pass up, so I decided to trade in my DS Lite for a "new used" DS Lite. It was kinda sad. ;-; I hope that they can fix my old DS and it will find a new home.

Also, I'm out of school! I've already started working on those ideas I mentioned, so be on the lookout for those sometime in the near future.

Also, I got another beta fish. C: Now I have two: Asul and Roho. One's a dark dark blue, and the other is a bright red, hence the names.

Today, November 6, is my birthday!

Other than that, there's really not much else to say.
I thought I'd have a new picture up by now, but as usual, school has other ideas. I've got three tests coming up next week, and two of them are going to be REALLY hard, so...
Study study study!

Hopefully, baring some other UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCE, I can have that picture up by, say, the end of next week. Maybe. I hope.

I...don't have any new pics. Sorry. Chemistry and all that.
What I will have is pictures of my costume (it's pretty cool if I do say so myself) probably sometime...either tomorrow or sometime next week. Maybe. Depends on whether or not I can get my hands on the camera.

Provided nothing crazy happens within the next week, I will probably have a new drawing up by Friday. Which is my birthday.

Oh, yes.
WATCH ASTRO BOY IT IS AMAZING. It's a surprisingly well-made homage to the Mickey Mouse of Japan, with lots of nods to the original manga and various anime, while putting a new spin to the story. Forget Rotten Tomatoes and don't listen to the die-hards. This movie is really, really good. WATCH IT.

Now that that's done.

And for that, I apologize, although the three people who watch me probably haven't missed much.

School is being a nudge. Last week I had like, three tests in a row and my head almost exploded from all the stress and studying. Next week I have a test in Chemistry, and in the class I'm taking that's something of an earth-shattering event. So, once again, I will drop off the face of the planet so that I can study. After that, I might have a little more free time to upload a new picture. MAYBE two, but...don't hold your breath... I mean, I have them done. All I have to do is color them. But, I've been playing video games again...
MegaMan, Musashi, Spectrobes, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy...
